Actions to perform after Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes installation

Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes starts protection and scan tasks immediately after installation if you have activated the application. If Enable Real-Time File Protection after installation of application (recommended) (default option) is selected during installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes, the application scans the device's file system objects when they are accessed. Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will run the Critical Areas Scan task every Friday at 8:00 P.M.

We recommend that you take the following steps after installing Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes:

• Start the application database update task. After installation Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes will scan objects using the database included in the application distribution kit.

  We recommend updating Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes databases immediately since they may be out of date.

  The application will then update the databases every hour according to the default schedule configured in the task.

• Run a Critical Areas Scan of the device if no anti-virus software with real-time file protection was installed on the device before installation of Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes.
• Configure administrator notifications about Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes events.
