The Wi-Fi Control task has a number of default settings that you can change according to security requirements (see the table below).

Setting | Default value | Description |
Task mode. | Notify Only | By default, the task only uses entries in the task log to notify the user about the blocking and allowing of connections to Wi-Fi networks. Connections are not actually blocked. You can choose the Active mode to protect a computer after creating a list of trusted Wi-Fi networks. |
Allow connections to the following Wi-Fi networks | The list of trusted Wi-Fi networks is taken into consideration. The list of trusted Wi-Fi networks is empty. | You can ignore the list of exclusions for trusted Wi-Fi networks in order to block connections to all Wi-Fi networks. |
Task start schedule | At application launch | The Wi-Fi Control task starts automatically when the application starts. You can configure settings to start the task on a schedule. |
