This section contains information about the new features and improvements in each version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud and Kaspersky Business Hub.

    We have redesigned the procedure for adding users, by making it more wizard-like and easy-to-use.

  • The new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows is now supported

    You can update Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows on your users' devices to version 12.5 from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud.

  • Be aware when it's time to renew the APNs certificate

    You can now receive email notifications when the APNs certificate in your workspace is about to expire or has expired. In this case, you can renew the certificate before it expires, to continue managing the devices running iOS and iPadOS.

  • Update in Protection status report

    For each of the devices, the report now shows the group of its owner. This is especially useful if you are a Managed Service Provider who uses groups to differentiate your customers within a single workspace.

    You can prepare the distribution package of version 12.0 from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, and then download and deliver this package to your macOS users. Users can then install the new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac on their devices.

  • Detect more types of sensitive data by using Data Discovery

    You can detect the sharing of critical or personal information of the citizens of Chile.

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 12.3 for Windows and Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.3 patch C for Mac.

    You can update the security application on your users' devices running Windows to the new version from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud.

    The new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac allows you to manage your users' devices that run macOS Sonoma 14. You can prepare the distribution package of the new version from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, and then download and deliver this package to your macOS users. Users can then install the new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac on their devices.

  • Easily recover an encrypted macOS device

    You can now view the recovery keys for encrypted devices running macOS in Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Management Console, in the device properties. This will make it easier to help a user who has forgotten a password, so that the user can gain access to a device encrypted by FileVault.

  • Update in Protection status report

    For each of the devices running Windows and macOS, the report now shows the alias and email address of its owner. This will help you easily find the person you need to contact in case of problems with a device.

  • Enhanced exclusions from malware scan

    You can now exclude all protection components when configuring a malware scan on your users' devices running Windows.

  • Better communication with your users

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud allows you to edit the template of the message that will be displayed on a device running Windows when the owner of the device attempts to access a blocked website.

    From the properties of a device, you can run a malware scan of this particular device. The scan status is also displayed in device properties.

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Android 14, iOS 17, and iPadOS 17.

  • Detect more types of sensitive data by using Data Discovery

    You can detect the sharing of critical or personal information of the citizens of Colombia and Mexico.

  • Delete accounts of users even if they have assigned devices

    If you delete accounts of users who own devices running Windows and macOS, such devices become unassigned.

    Additionally, you can now delete groups that include user accounts, with user accounts either being deleted or moved to another group.

  • Improvements in security application uninstallation settings

    If the removal of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows and Network Agent is protected by different passwords, you can now specify both of them when configuring uninstallation.

    Easily fix problems with the protection of users and devices, by following the recommendations from Kaspersky experts. You can find these recommendations in the device and user details.
    Also, the limit of users and groups has been increased. You can now create 50 groups of users, and assign a security profile to 50 users or groups.

  • Prevent a decrease in the protection level of your users' devices

    You can now set password protection of Network Agent, to avoid it being deleted accidentally from the devices.

  • Detect more types of sensitive data by using Data Discovery

    You can now detect critical or personal information of the citizens of the United Kingdom.

  • The new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac is now supported

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.2 patch D for Mac. As a result, you can manage your users' devices that run macOS Ventura 13.

    Beta testing of Data Discovery is almost finished. If you would like to continue monitoring documents with critical or personal information that are located in Office 365 cloud storages, activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud under a Plus license after the beta testing end date (November 15, 2021).

  • New versions of security applications are now supported

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.7 for Windows and Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.2 for Mac.
    Protect your Mac device on the Apple M1 chip by using the new version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac.

  • Check the risk level of cloud services used in your company

    In the Cloud Discovery widget, we've added a risk level to each cloud service. You can block the ones that don't fit your security requirements right from the widget, if you have a Plus license.

  • New versions of mobile operating systems are now supported

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Android 12, iOS 15, and iPadOS 15.

  • You can now download a license report from Kaspersky Business Hub. This report contains information about all licenses that are used by the companies registered under your account.

    In particular, from this new section you can export information about all of the current detections to a CSV file, to prepare a report for your management.

  • Data Discovery enhancements:

    The window with information about a detection now contains the full path to a detected file, which will help you solve problems of sharing sensitive personal information. You can share the link to a file with the file owner, and ask him or her to remove the file or change the audience to which the file is shared.
    Additionally, you can now export information about all of the sensitive data currently found in Office 365 cloud storages to a CSV file, to prepare a report for your management.

  • We have introduced a new feature—Endpoint Detection and Response Preview. This feature allows you to detect and root out advanced attacks, perform root-cause analysis with a visualized threat development chain graph, and drill down to details for further review.

    • IP addresses to be excluded from the Network Threat Protection scope.

  • Now you can check the power of your security profile and maximize it in a single click. The security profile power shows how well the profile protects your users' devices.
  • We have added the capability to schedule delivery of the reports by email. So, you can receive regular notifications about the protection of your users' devices.
  • No more problems with differentiating devices with identical names. You can now rename devices that are connected to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud.
  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.4 for Windows.
  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Android 11.
  • You can now watch video instructions in Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Management Console. They can help you get started with the product.
  • We have simplified configuring password protection of Windows devices.
  • We have improved the connection of mobile devices to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. If the user's device fails to connect to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud during the initial configuration of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android, the user can copy the download link from the email message with the instructions, and then paste it into Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android.
  • We have added the capability to hide notifications and pop-ups from Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Android when the app is in background mode. Do this if you do not want the mobile device users to be distracted by the app.

  • We have extended the beta-testing period of Cloud Discovery until March 31, 2020. After the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud upgrade, Cloud Discovery is available only under licenses that were purchased after April 2019.

    Cloud Discovery allows you to monitor the use of cloud services on managed devices running Windows and to block access to cloud services that you consider unwanted. The blocking capability is only available under a Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Plus license.

  • If you purchased a Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Plus license, you can now activate Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 under the same license.

    Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 protects your Office 365 corporate email, file sharing, communication, and collaboration services against malware, phishing, spam, and other threats.

    To protect your Office 365, create a workspace for Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365. After a workspace is created, you can enter the activation code for the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud Plus license. You can find the activation code in the email message that you received after the license purchase.

  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.3 for Windows.
  • By using special widgets and banners in Kaspersky Business Hub, managed service provider (MSP) administrators now have a bird's-eye view of the main health indicators across all their workspaces.

    This feature is available only if the version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows is 11.2 or later. If your workspace has an earlier version of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows, we recommend that you prepare the distribution package of version 11.2. After the distribution package is prepared, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows will be updated automatically on managed devices.

  • You can now configure the Encrypted Connections Scan feature.

    This feature boosts the Cloud Discovery, Web Threat Protection, and Web Control features by improving their control of access to cloud services, detection of web threats, and control of access to websites, respectively.

  • You can now remotely uninstall security applications from managed devices running Windows and macOS.

    This feature allows you to release security application licenses used by the devices if you no longer want to manage these devices. Later, you can use these licenses for other devices.

  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.2 for Windows.
  • We have updated the list of data that Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud may receive, store, and process.

Update 10.3

Based on customer feedback, we have adjusted the internal rules for removing inactive devices from Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. Now, even after 60 days of inactivity, the devices will still be visible until you explicitly delete them.

Update 10.1

Kaspersky Business Hub now supports protection of SharePoint Online by Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365.

  • Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud now supports iOS 13, iPadOS 13, and macOS 10.15.

    Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Mac does not support macOS 10.15 Catalina.
    After the macOS upgrade to the above-mentioned version, the protection of your users' devices by Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Mac is terminated.
    To resume protection of devices, you must download the distribution package of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac, and then deliver it to your macOS users.   • We have replaced the Kaspersky Lab name in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud user interface with Kaspersky, following the company rebranding.

  • The Behavior Detection, Remediation Engine, and Exploit Prevention component is now available for server operating systems. This functionality protects systems from ransomware.
  • In the Devices section, the administrator can see the group to which the device owner belongs. A number of refinements have been made to bring the solution into compliance with the requirements of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Update 5.2

  • An option to delete a workspace was added to Kaspersky Business Hub. By default, the workspace is moved to the 'awaiting deletion' state, and will finally be removed in seven days. It is also possible to force workspace deletion in the same moment that the workspace is marked for deletion.
  • A number of refinements have been made to bring the solution into compliance with GDPR requirements.

  • A separate Licenses tab has been added to the window containing the list of workspaces. If a license is used in multiple workspaces, you can view the total usage of the license on the Licenses tab.
  • More localizations for Terms of Use for Kaspersky Security for Microsoft Office 365 have been added.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is a software solution designed for centralized management of specific applications through a cloud-based console.

With Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, you can do the following: install and update Kaspersky Lab applications in centralized mode on computers, servers, and mobile devices managed through Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud; manage device settings and security settings through security profiles; and manage and edit user properties, create user groups, and provide various rights to users.

Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is deployed on the Kaspersky Lab side. To make use of Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, you must use a device that is connected to the Internet and that has a supported browser installed.
