Applying a temporary password in the Kaspersky Endpoint Security interface

These instructions are intended for users of client computers with Kaspersky Endpoint Security installed.

To apply a temporary password:

  1. Open the application settings window.
  2. In the left part of the window, select the Advanced Settings section.

    The application settings are displayed in the right part of the window.

  3. In the Password protection section, click the Temporary password button.

    The Temporary password window opens.

  4. Select the Enable temporary password check box.
  5. In the input field, specify the password that was obtained from the Kaspersky Security Center administrator.
  6. Click OK to save the changes.

After the temporary password is applied, the operations specified by the Kaspersky Security Center administrator will become available. The Temporary password window displays the expiration date of the temporary password and the allowed operations.
