To ensure correct operation of Kaspersky Security 8 for Linux Mail Server on CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or Rocky Linux operating systems, SELinux must be disabled.
To disable SELinux:
- Check the settings for starting SELinux at system startup. To do so, run the following command:
cat /etc/selinux/config
- If the
SELINUX
parameter has theenforcing
value, disable the startup of SELinux at system startup. To do so, in the /etc/selinux/config file, specifySELINUX=disabled
instead ofSELINUX=enforcing
. - Check the current status of SELinux. To do so, run the following command:
sestatus
- If the
SELinux status
parameter has theenabled
value, disable SELinux. To do so, run the following command:setenforce 0
SELinux will be disabled.
