When updating the application to a newer version, we recommend you configure a DKIM signature in Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 2.0 MR1 and use it alongside the DKIM signature for Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 1.1. This will let you carry out a seamless migration to Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 2.0 MR1.

Configuring the DKIM signature when migrating from Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 1.1 to version 2.0 MR1 involves the following steps:

  1. Creating or importing a DKIM key in the installed Kaspersky Secure Mail Gateway 2.0 MR1 application
  2. Retrieving a DNS record for a public DKIM key
  3. Adding the retrieved DNS record to the settings of your DNS server

As a result, both versions of the application will be adding DKIM signatures to messages, each with its own DKIM key.
