Configuring the address for messages sent by the application

You can enter the email address that will be specified as the sender address for the following application messages:

• Notifications about triggered rules
• Notifications about application events
• Messages from Backup sent as an attachment
• Backup Digest
• Reports
• Bounce messages when the application applies the Reject action.

To configure the address for messages sent by the application:

1. In the application web interface window, select the Settings → Monitoring → Reply address section.
2. In the Reply address field, specify the address that will be displayed in the From field in messages sent by the application.

   You can indicate only one address.

   The default value is ksmg@<FQDN of the cluster's Control node>.

3. Click Save.

The address for application messages is now configured.
