You can view the current status of hard drive encryption for each computer with encryption enabled in the Administration Console. Both Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows and Network Agent must be running on that computer.

To check the encryption status of the hard drive:

  1. In the Administration Console, open the properties of the managed computer.
  2. Go to Applications and select Kaspersky Endpoint Security.
  3. Click Statistics

If the information about Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows is unavailable (this happens when the computer is turned off or if there is no connection between the computer and the administration server), the Statistics button will be unavailable.

  1. Find the line FDE: Encryption of devices.

The FDE: Encryption of devices parameter shows the status of the hard drive encryption:

  • “Disk encrypted on: 100%” means that the hard drive is fully encrypted.
  • “Disk decrypted on: 100%” means that the hard drive is decrypted (authentication of the agent is not performed).
