This article concerns Kaspersky Security 10.1 for Windows Server.
 
 
 
 

To manage Kaspersky Security 10.1 for Windows Server remotely via the Application Console:

  1. Make sure that the Kaspersky Security 10.1 for Windows Server user accounts that are used to authenticate in Kaspersky Security Center 10 are part of the KAVWSEE Administrators group or have local administrator privileges.
  2. If Firewall is enabled on the device, allow network connections for the kavfsgt.exe (Kaspersky Security Management) service. See the instructions below.
  3. If you did not select the checkbox Allow remote access when installing the Kaspersky Security 10.1 for Windows Server Console, enable network connections for the Console manually through the device’s firewall settings. See the Administrator's Guide for instructions.

You are now able to manage Kaspersky Security 10.1.1 for Windows Server through an Application Console installed on a different device.
