Quarantine is a special storage area where objects potentially infected with viruses are kept.

Potentially infected objects are objects that are suspected of being infected by viruses or modifications of them. Objects stored in Quarantine do not represent a threat to your computer.

By default, the infected files Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2014 cannot disinfect are removed automatically. You can disable this option and configure actions to be performed on detecting threats.
