How to run Quick Scan

During a Quick Scan, the application scans objects that are loaded during operating system startup, system memory, and boot sectors of the device. You can use Quick Scan to quickly scan your device for malware.

Quick Scan can be started remotely on devices protected by Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security for Mac, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Internet Security, and Kaspersky Security Cloud.

You can start Quick Scan on one managed device or on all managed devices at the same time.

To run Quick Scan on a managed device:

1. Go to the Devices section.
2. Click on the device you want to scan.
3. Click the Quick Scan button.
4. Confirm start.

   While the scan is running, a progress indicator (percentage completed and time remaining) and the stop button are displayed. When scanning is completed, a scan report is available under the link showing last scan date.
