This article concerns Kaspersky Web Traffic Security 6.1.

If you use Kaspersky Web Traffic Security 6.1 as an ICAP server only and want to disable the proxy server connection option:

  1. Use SSH protocol to connect to the cluster node for which the access to proxy server will be denied.
  2. In the template file /opt/kaspersky/kwts-appliance-addon/share/templates/squid.conf.template, replace

http_port {{

with

http_port 127.0.0.1:{{

  1. Save the file.

You can use built-in editor "midnight commander" or "vim" to edit the file.

  1. Repeat the steps 1-3 on every node for which the access to proxy server should be denied.
  2. Use the interface to change any setting of the built-in proxy server. This will cause the settings update. For example, you can change the Access log parameters and save the changes.

When the cluster nodes with edited template files update the settings, the access to proxy server will be denied for them.
