To collect Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool trace files:
- Press and hold the Win and R keys on your keyboard.
- Drag-and-drop the installer to the Run window.
- In the entry line, the path to the file will appear.
- Type -trace after the path to the file and click OK.
- To run the application, follow steps 2-6 from this article.
- Reproduce the issue.
A trace file under the name KVRT.<version_date_time_random characters>.log.enc1 will be created in the C:\KVRT2020_Data\Traces folder
