Hard Drive Health Monitor limitations

In some cases, Kaspersky Security Cloud cannot determine the status of a hard drive due to the following limitations:

  • The hard drive does not support S.M.A.R.T technology.
  • The S.M.A.R.T. feature is turned off on the hard drive.
  • Kaspersky Security Cloud does not support the following:
    • Type of connected hard drive
    • Type of USB controller of the hard drive
  • The hard drive is disabled.
