Issue

When installing Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows you may get a certificate verification error and a prompt "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?".

Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?

Cause

The DigiCert root certificate was not updated.

Solution

Upon connection to the internet, the certificate will be updated automatically. To fix the issue in the isolated environment, manually install the DigiCert Trusted Root G4 certificate to the Windows certificates storage. For more information, see the guide on the Microsoft website.
