How to activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac
This article concerns:

- Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.2.0 for Mac (version 11.2.0.185)
- Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11.1.0 for Mac (version 11.1.0.210)
You can activate Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac using an activation code or key file:
- Locally through the interface or command line. See the guide below.
- Remotely through Kaspersky Security Center. See the guide below.
If this is the first time you are activating the application, you can use the trial version. See the Online Help page for instructions.
Before activating the application, make sure date and time are set correctly on the device.
Local activation through graphical interface
- Open Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac.
- Click Licensing.
- Select an activation method.
- Enter the activation code and click Activate.
- Make sure the application has been activated and click Continue.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac will be activated.
Activation through the command line
- Open Terminal.
- Run the command with administrator permissions:
Use the key file with the KEY extension or the activation code in the format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Example:
kav license /add A11A1-11111-1A1AA-1A11A
Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac will be activated.
Remote activation through Kaspersky Security Center
- Open Kaspersky Security Center.
- Go to the Tasks node and click Create a task in the right frame.
- Select Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac → Add key and click Next.
- Choose the key or activation code, or add the key file. If you want to add the key as an additional key that will be applied automatically after the current key expires, select the check box Add this key as an additional key.
- Click Next.
- Select the devices on which the task will be applied:
- Select networked devices detected by Administration Server. Select the devices in the list. If the devices on which you want to activate the application are missing from the list, add them by their NetBIOS name, DNS name, IP address or set a range of IP addresses.
- Specify device addresses manually, or import addresses from list. Specify the NetBIOS names, DNS names, IP addresses or IP ranges.
- Assign task to a device selection. Specify the device selection.
- Assign task to an administration group. Assign the task to the existing administration group of managed devices.
- Follow the Task Wizard instructions.
- Click Finish.
- Run the task and wait for its completion.
Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Mac will be activated.
