Issue with Full Disk Access (FDA) in Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac after upgrading macOS to version 13
Latest update: 9 November 2022
ID: 15930
Issue
MacOS Ventura (version 13) has a bug that may cause problems with Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac versions 11.2.0 and 11.2.1.
After updating the operating system to version 13, the Kaspersky application asks for the Full Disk Access permission. At the same time, the macOS settings show the permission as granted. The devices with the MDM-profile installed are not affected.
Solution
- Open the main window of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Mac.
- Click the Allow button.
- In the window that opens, click Open Privacy & Security.
- Remove Kaspersky System Extension by clicking the minus icon. Wait for a short period of time until it gets back automatically.
- Switch the Kaspersky System Extension toggle to the on position.
The Full Disk Access (FDA) permission will be granted.
