At the start of a Kaspersky Lab product, you may get the error "Databases are corrupted".

The system protection indicator in the main view turns red, and there may also be notifications on problems with your license or security threats.

To fix the problem, reinstall the application:

  1. Remove the Kaspersky Lab application installed on your computer. Use the guide from  this article
  2. Download the latest version of the product:
  3. Wait for download to complete. 
  4. Run the downloaded file and follow the steps of the installation wizard to install the application.
