The “Proxy server not found” error during the database update

Issue

Database update stops with an error, and “Proxy server not found” error appears in the reports.

Solution

  1. Open the application settings by clicking The settings icon in the lower-left corner in the lower-left corner of the main window.

  2. Go to Protection settings section and select Network settings.
  3. Click Proxy server settings.
  4. Select Do not use proxy server and click OK.
  5. Click Save and confirm your actions.
  6. Try running a database update once again.

If proxy server settings are unavailable, install the latest version of the Kaspersky application: Kaspersky Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium, Kaspersky Internet SecurityKaspersky Anti-VirusKaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Small Office Security.
