If you encounter a .NET Framework error during the installation or start of a Kaspersky application, follow the steps below:

  1. Download and run Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool, a Microsoft .NET Framework troubleshooting utility.
  2. Follow the steps of the installation wizard and then restart the computer.
  3. Try installing or opening a Kaspersky application once again.

If the Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool did not help to solve the issue, follow the recommendations depending on the version of your operating system:

For Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista

  1. Delete the application using the standard Windows tools (click StartControl PanelPrograms and Features → Uninstall/Change).
  2. Download and install the latest version of .Net Framework.
  3. Try installing or opening a Kaspersky application once again.

For Windows 8

  1. Download and install the latest version of .Net Framework.
  2. Try installing or opening a Kaspersky application once again.

For Windows 10

Install the latest operating system updates from the Microsoft website and try installing or opening a Kaspersky application once again.
