“Invalid key” error


“Invalid key” error

When activating a Kaspersky Lab application, you may get the “Invalid key” error message. In this case, try to activate the application again in an hour as the activation server may be unavailable due to maintenance.

If this doesn’t help, try removing the license and activating the application again:

  1. In the main window of the application, click License in the lower-right corner. To learn how to open the main application window, see this article.
  2. Click The cross icon on the right of the license key.
