To view information about a dictionary:

  1. In the application web interface window, select the Rules section.
  2. Click Dictionaries.
  3. In the Dictionaries window, select the dictionary for which you want to view information.

This opens the view dictionary window with the following information:

  • Name
  • Description
  • Type of dictionary content
  • List of template values
    • For a dictionary of the Strings type, the list of values is displayed under Search strings.

If not all strings are displayed, you can select the required number of items you want to display in the drop-down list in the lower part of the area.

    • For a dictionary of the File types type, the list of values is displayed under Search types.
  • A table of rules in which the dictionary is used. Displayed under Dictionary usage.

The table covers active and inactive Content Filtering conditions that use this dictionary. The following information is displayed for each condition:

    • Rule is the rule that contains the condition.
    • Expression is the expression in which the condition is used.
    • Message attribute is the message attribute selected in the condition.

If the same expression contains multiple conditions with the same message attribute, and all of these conditions use the dictionary, the number of conditions is additionally displayed.

You can sort the rules by any column. Items in columns are sorted alphabetically. You can set ascending or descending sorting order by clicking Sort. in the column header. Clicking the sort icon for a third time resets the sorting of the column.
