Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Agentless system requirements
Hardware requirements
Starting with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.0 Agentless, installation and operation of application components in an infrastructure managed by a VMware vCenter Server and VMware vShield Manager is not supported.
The distribution kit contains several SVM (Secure Virtual Machine) images with the File Threat Protection component and the Network Threat Protection component installed.
You can use these images to deploy an SVM with the configuration you require. Depending on the configuration, you will require the following system resources at a minimum:

- Number of processors: 2
- Allocated RAM size: 4 GB
- Available disk space: 44 GB
- Configuration 3:
- Number of processors: 2
- Allocated RAM size: 8 GB
- Available disk space: 48 GB
- Configuration 4:
- Number of processors: 4
- Allocated RAM size: 4 GB
- Available disk space: 44 GB
- Configuration 5:
- Number of processors: 4
- Allocated RAM size: 8 GB
- Available disk space: 48 GB
For an SVM with the Network Threat Protection component
- Configuration 1:
- Number of processors: 2
- Allocated RAM size: 1 GB
- Available disk space: 26 GB
- Configuration 2:
- Number of processors: 4
- Allocated RAM size: 2 GB
- Available disk space: 27 GB
- Configuration 3:
- Number of processors: 8
- Allocated RAM size: 4 GB
- Available disk space: 29 GB
Hardware requirements for the Integration Server
To install and operate the Integration Server, the computer must meet the following minimum hardware requirements:
- Available disk space: 3 GB
- RAM:
- To operate the Integration Server Management Console: 50 MB
- To operate an Integration Serve which is serving up to 30 hypervisors and 2000-2500 protected virtual machines: 300 MB
The amount of RAM can change depending on the size of the VMWare virtual infrastructure.
Other hardware requirements
- For Kaspersky Security Center requirements, see Online Help.
- For VMware virtual infrastructure, see VMware documentation.
- For Windows operating system, see Windows documentation.
Requirements for Kaspersky Security Center components
The operating system on the computer on which Kaspersky Security Center is installed must meet the requirements of the Integration Server component.
For correct functioning of the application, either of the following applications must be installed in the company's local network:
- Kaspersky Security Center 11. The application will protect the virtual infrastructure:
- under VMware vCloud Director in the multitenancy mode
- under one or several VMware vCenter Server servers without the multitenancy mode
- Kaspersky Security Center 10 Service Pack 3 he application will protect the virtual infrastructure under one or several VMware vCenter Server servers without the multitenancy mode.
The following Kaspersky Security Center components must be installed in order to run the program:
- Administration Server
- Administration Console
- Network Agent included into the SVM images
For more information about installing Kaspersky Security Center, see the Online Help page.
Software requirements for the Integration Server component
To install and run the Integration Server component, one of the following operating systems must be installed on the computer:
- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter / Standard / Essentials
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 is required for the installation of the Integration Server, Integration Server Management Console, and Kaspersky Security administration plug-in.
Software requirements for the File Threat Protection component
Virtual infrastructure
For the File Threat Protection component to work properly, the virtual infrastructure must meet the following software requirements:
- Option 1:
- Hypervisor: VMware ESXi 6.7 Update 3, VMware ESXi 6.5 Update 3a, or VMware ESXi 6.0 Update 3a
- Server: VMware vCenter 6.7 Update 3, VMware vCenter 6.5 Update 3, or VMware vCenter 6.0 Update 3j
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.6
- Option 2:
- Hypervisor: VMware ESXi 6.5 Update 3a, or VMware ESXi 6.0 Update 3a
- Server: VMware vCenter 6.5 Update 3 or VMware vCenter 6.0 Update 3j
- VMware NSX for vSphere 6.3.7
For File Threat Protection, you must install the Guest Introspection (NSX File Introspection Driver):
- for Windows, install the VMware Tools package version 11.0.1 which includes the NSX File Introspection Driver.
- for Linux, special packages have been developed.
For more information about installation and upgrade of VMware components, see VMware documentation.
