Application Startup Control in Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.2 Light Agent blocks Citrix App Layering

Issue

Application Startup Control may block Citrix App Layering when working in the Allowlist mode. For more information about the Application Startup Control component and its modes, see Online Help.

Solution

Before using Citrix App Layering with Kaspersky Security for Virtualization Light Agent:

1. Open the Kaspersky Security Center console.
2. Create a new category of applications and add the file C:\Program Files\Unidesk\Layering Services\LayerInfo.exe to it.

3. Create a new rule in the Application Startup Control for the White list mode. For instructions, see Online Help. At step 9, select the category you have created earlier.
