How to install Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.0 Light Agent in a virtual environment based on Huawei FusionSphere 6.3
You can use Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.0 Light Agent to protect a virtual environment based on Huawei FusionSphere 6.3. To ensure the protection works correctly, use the special build of Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 5.0 Light Agent. To get the build, submit a request to Kaspersky Lab technical support via Kaspersky CompanyAccount.
How to install the special build for protecting a virtual environment based on Huawei FusionSphere 6.3
- Start the SVM creation wizard.
- Select an SVM disk image in the QCOW2 format.
- Finish the wizard.
- Start the virtual machine.
- Sign in to the SVM under the following account:
- Login: root
- Password: 7czWtTKhCgrvEYBHb3rE
- Change the password for the root account using the following command:
passwd root
- Change the password for klconfig using the following command:
passwd klconfig
- Configure the network settings. Run the commands below.
- When using DHCP, run:

ssh klconfig@localhost dhcp <InterfaceName> yes
- When using static parameters, run:

ssh klconfig@localhost network <InterfaceName> <IP> <NetMask> <GateWay> <DNS1> <Optional DNS2>
- Restart the network service.
- Configure the connector language:
ssh klconfig@<ip> connectorlang zh-Hans
- Enter a name for the SVM:
ssh klconfig@<ip> hostname testsvm.contoso.com <ip>
- Configure the Network Agent connection settings:
ssh klconfig@<ip> nagent <ip or fqdn_of_KSC> 13000 14000
- Install the application:
ssh klconfig@<ip> productinstall
- Run Scan Server:
ssh klconfig@<ip> manageservices start scanserver
The SVM will be able to be managed via Kaspersky Security Center.
When Huawei FusionSphere 6.3 is being used by Light Agent, only the discovery method that uses a manually-compiled list of SVM addresses is available. The Integration Server cannot be used.
