Issue

If you get the message “Error occurred during application installation”, follow the instructions below.

Solution

  1. Create a restore point. See this article for instructions.
  2. Make sure you have an activation code for your Kaspersky application. You will need to enter it after you reinstall the application.
  3. Delete the files of the earlier installed application versions using the kavremover tool. See this article for instructions.
  4. Install the application once again.
