Changing the node address in KSMG

Before changing the address of the node in the KSMG application, we recommend verifying that the new network settings of your operating system are applied.
To change the IP address or port of a cluster node:
- Run the cluster node network settings modification wizard:
/opt/kaspersky/ksmg/bin/setup.py --update-address
- Give the following responses to the wizard's prompts:
- To the Before changing network settings of a cluster node, you must ensure network connectivity between nodes with new and old addresses. Continue? prompt, answer
yes
. - To the Specify IP address of the current node prompt, enter the new IP address that you want to use for machine-to-machine communication.
If you do not want to change the IP address, press ENTER.
- To the Specify the port number of the current node prompt, enter the new port number that you want to use for machine-to-machine communication.
If you do not want to change the IP address, press ENTER.
- To the Specify the port number of the current node for web interface prompt, press Enter.
The port number of the web interface must be changed separately, see the instructions in the Changing the port number of the web interface section.
- To the Before changing network settings of a cluster node, you must ensure network connectivity between nodes with new and old addresses. Continue? prompt, answer
- After the wizard finishes and all services are restarted, restart the cluster node using the following command:
shutdown -r
The address of the cluster node is changed. Proceed to configuring KSMG cluster nodes in the web interface.
