How to change the Administration Server service account using the klsrvswch utility

You can change the account used to start the Administration Server service with the klsrvswch utility.
The klsrvswch executable file is located in the Kaspersky Security Center installation folder:
- for 32-bit operating systems: %ProgramFiles%\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\klsrvswch.exe
- for 64-bit operating systems: %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Security Center\klsrvswch.exe
To change the Administration Server account:
- Run the klsrvswch utility from the Kaspersky Security Center installation folder. Click Next.
- Set the account in one of the following ways:
- Select Local System Account and click Next.
The Administration Server service will start under the system account with LocalSystem privileges. - Select User account and add the account. Click Next.
The Administration Server service will start under the domain user account.
- Select Local System Account and click Next.
- If requested, set a password and confirm it. Click Next.
- If necessary, specify the path to a folder with Windows updates. Click Next.
- If necessary, specify an account for additional services related to Kaspersky Security Center. Click Next.
- Click Done.
The Administration Server service will be run under the account that you have specified.
When using SQL server Microsoft Windows authentication, be sure to provide access to the SQL database. The user account must be the owner of the Kaspersky Security Center 10 database. It is necessary to use the dbo schema by default.
