“The application should be reinstalled” message

Issue

When working with a Kaspersky application, you may get the error message "The application should be reinstalled".

Solution

If you encounter this problem, please reinstall the application:

  1. Download the application installer:
    You can no longer download Kaspersky Security Cloud. Switch to our new Kaspersky Premium solution.
  2. Remove the application using the instructions. When removing it, make sure that the License information check box is selected in the Saving objects window.
  3. Restart the device.
  4. Run the installation file and follow the installation guides:
