How to diagnose update issues in Kaspersky products

If any problems occur while updating Kaspersky products:
  1. Check if the system date is set up correctly on your computer.
  2. Check if your computer has an access to the Internet. To do this, try to open the Kaspersky website. If you have no access to the Internet, contact your Internet service provider for additional information.
  3. Reset Internet Explorer settings.
  4. Check the availability of Kaspersky update servers. To do this, click any of the links in the server address list. If the server page is successfully downloaded, the the Kaspersky servers are accessible.
  5. If you have a third-party Firewall or other incompatible anti-virus software installed on your computer, remove it manually. You can find the list of incompatible software in the corresponding articles: Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Anti-Virus, Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Security Cloud and Kaspersky Small Office Security.  
  6. Make sure your computer is not infected:
  7. Try to install the product once again.
