Description

If in the policy of the Anti-Theft component you specify the text that should be sent to the user’s device upon locking with non-Latin symbols, then during the following synchronization the policy will not apply to the mobile device.

Resolution

Specify the text message with Latin symbols:

  • Open the policy properties for mobile devices.
  • Select Anti-Theft.
  • In the right frame of the window in the Device Lock section click the Settings button.
  • The Device Lock settings window will open.
  • In the Device Lock settings window enter a message using Latin symbols.

  • Click OK in every window.

During the next synchronization, the settings specified in the policy will apply to the mobile device.
