Vulnerability scan is a special tool which helps to search and eliminate security vulnerabilities of applications installed on your computer and operating system settings.

All the issues detected at the system analysis stage will be grouped by the level of threat they represent. Kaspersky Lab specialists offer a set of actions for each group of issues that help to eliminate vulnerabilities in the system settings.

There are three groups of issues and three groups of actions corresponding to them:

  • Strongly recommended actions help to eliminate issues of a high security threat level. It is recommended to perform all actions of this group.
  • Recommended actions help to eliminate potential threat. It is recommended to perform all actions of this group as well.
  • Additional actions help to fix system damages that do not represent but may harm the security of your computer later.
