The article concerns Kaspersky Security Center 10 Service Pack 2 (version 10.3.407.0) and later.

An application management plug-in is a component that provides an interface for managing Kaspersky Lab applications through the Administration Console. A management plug-in is included with all Kaspersky Lab applications that are managed through Kaspersky Security Center 10.

You can use the application management plug-in to:

  • Create and edit application policies and tasks.
  • Get information from client devices about tasks, events and application statistics.

The plug-in version corresponds to the version of the managed application. We recommend reinstalling the management plug-in when updating Kaspersky Lab products.
