How t adjust the interface of the Kaspersky Security Center 10 console

This article concerns Kaspersky Security Center 10 Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0).
 
 
 
 

How to adjust the interface of Kaspersky Security Center 10 according to your needs:

  • Show and hide items in the console tree, workspace, and properties.
  • Show and hide areas of the main window, such as the console tree, Actions and View menus.

To change the interface:

  1. Go to the Administration Server.
  2. Click ViewConfigure interface.
  3. Use the following checkboxes to choose the items for display:
    • Display system management.  If the option is selected, the Remote installation folder displays the Deploying computer images subfolder, and the function for deploying operating system images on managed computers becomes available. This checkbox is cleared by default.

    • Display encryption and data protection. If the checkbox is selected, data encryption on devices in the network becomes available. The Encryption and data protection folder will appear the in the Console tree. This check box is selected by default.

    • Display endpoint control settings. If the checkbox is selected, the following items are displayed in the Endpoint control section of the Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows policy properties: Application Control, Vulnerability Monitor, Device Control, Web Control. This checkbox is cleared by default.

    • Display Mobile Device Management. If the checkbox is selected, the Mobile Device Management feature is available. Upon restart, the Mobile Device Management item will appear the in the Console tree. This check box is cleared by default.

    • Display slave Administration Servers.  If the checkbox is selected, the nodes of slave and virtual Administration Servers are shown in the console tree. This checkbox is selected by default.

    • Display security settings sections.  If the checkbox is selected, the Security section will be available in the properties of the Administration Server, groups of managed computers and other items. This check box is selected by default.

  4. Click OK.

To apply some of the changes, you may need to restart the Administration Console.

To adjust the elements of the main window:

  1. Click ViewCustomize.
  2. Change the set of elements displayed in the mail window using checkboxes.
  3. Click OK.
