Quarantine is a special storage area where objects potentially infected with viruses are kept.

Potentially infected objects are objects that are suspected of being infected by viruses or their modifications. Objects stored in Quarantine do not represent any threat to your computer.

By default, the infected files Kaspersky Anti-Virus cannot disinfect are removed automatically. You can disable this option and configure actions to be performed on detecting threats.
