How to generate a Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Linux File Servers supervisor runtime trace file:
  1. Edit the /etc/opt/kaspersky/kav4fs-supervisor.conf file, changing theTraceLevel value to Debug.

  2. Restart the supervisor service:

    /etc/init.d/kav4fs-supervisor restart

  3. Create a /tmp/traces folder or delete its contents if any exists already

  4. Execute the following commands:

    cp `ls -t /var/log/kaspersky/kav4fs/supervisor_trace.log_main_* | head -1` /tmp/traces

    cp `ls -t /var/log/kaspersky/kav4fs/supervisor_trace.log_wd_big_* | head -1` /tmp/traces

    cp `ls -t /var/log/kaspersky/kav4fs/supervisor_trace.log_wd_small_* | head -1` /tmp/traces

  5. Compress the tracing files into an archive and send it to the Technical Support service:

    tar -jcf traces_supervisor.tar.bz2 /tmp/traces
