How to generate a Network Agent trace file

To generate a runtime trace file of the Network Agent for Kaspersky Anti-Virus 8.0 for Linux File Servers:
  1. Edit the Agent startup script (/etc/init.d/klnagent) as follows:

    in the start() section, replace the line  

     

    with 

     


     


  2. Save the changes and restart the Network Agent:  

     /etc/init.d/klnagent restart  
  3. Reproduce the issue.
  4. Disable the tracing:

    in the start() section, replace the line

     

    with

     
  5. Save the changes and restart the Network Agent:

    /etc/init.d/klnagent restart
  6. Create a /tmp/traces folder or delete its contents if it already exists.

  7. Execute the following commands:

    grep klnagent /var/log/messages > /tmp/traces/klnagent.mesg

    cp /tmp/klnagent.traces /tmp/traces 

    tar -jcf traces_nagent.tar.bz2 /tmp/traces
