Commercial release of the patch that adds the support of the new APNs protocol to Kaspersky Security Center 12.0, 12.1 and 12.2
Patch pf1 for iOS Mobile Device Management server in Kaspersky Security Center 12.0, 12.1 and 12.2 was released on March 30, 2021.
We released the patch adding the support of the new APNs (Apple Push Notification service) protocol, because the binary protocol for the APNs service is no longer supported. For more information, see the official Apple website.
Patch pf1 includes the following:
- patch_12_2_0_4376_ios_mdm_pf1.zip — patch for the iOS Mobile Device Management server.
How to install the patch
How to check if the patch has been installed
- Open Kaspersky Security Center and go to the Reports tab.
- Select Software updates report and open its Properties.
- Go to Fields for report and open the Details fields tab.
- Select the Installed application version check box.
- Click OK.
Information about the installed patch will be displayed in the list.
Known limitations
After the patch is installed, the address of the outgoing connection to APNs will be changed to https://api.push.apple.com:2197. Allow the device where the iOS MDM server is installed access to this address. The range of IP addresses has not changed: 17.0.0.0/8.
