Latest update: November 29, 2021 ID: 15291

The article concerns:

  • Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.1 Agentless
  • Kaspersky Security for Virtualization 6.0 Agentless

The scan time of virtual machines with SuSE Linux may increase each time the task is run.

Cause

By default, snapshots of virtual machines with SuSE Linux are created automatically and each snapshot contains all the system files of the operating system. Therefore the volume of scanned files may increase and differ from the volume of files shown by the df command.

Solution

To reduce scan time, you can add the folder /.snapshots/ to the scan task exclusions.
