How to get Kaspersky Security Center 11 trace files

After you create a request to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support, they may ask you to send trace files. Trace files contain records of all application’s actions, which allows to find the step at which an error occurs.

Make sure your user account has administrator privileges.

You can get trace files in one of the following ways:

  • Using the klactgui.exe utility. For instructions see this article.
  • Using special .reg files. See the guide below.

For the sake of convenience we recommend using klactgui.exe tool.
