Webcam Protection is a component of Kaspersky Small Office Security that helps prevent unauthorized surveillance through the webcam of your computer.

You can deny access to the webcam for all applications, specific groups, or single applications. When such applications are connecting to the webcam, you will get a notification prompting to allow or block access. To learn how to configure groups of trusted applications, please refer to the instructions in the article.

Kaspersky Small Office Security does not control the access of applications to:

  • Audio data from the webcam microphone, if the application attempts to access audio data separately from video data.
  • Media built-in or connected to the webcam.
  • Interface for managing additional webcam features.
