How to install the Kaspersky Password Manager extension in Protected Browser mode

Protected Browser is a special browser operating mode that protects your data when using banking websites or making online transactions. Protected Browser launches in an isolated environment so that other programs cannot infiltrate it. The Kaspersky Lab product creates special browser profiles so that third-party extensions cannot affect Protected Browser. 

Before installing the Kaspersky Password Manager extension in the Protected Browser mode, take note of the following:

  • Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge: the extension is installed by default. 
  • Google Chrome: install the extensions via the Chrome Web Store. If you are not sure how to install the Kaspersky Password Manager extension in Chrome, follow the instructions in this article.
