Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection checks the status of the wireless network (Wi-Fi access spot) based on Kaspersky Secuity Network (KSN) and a set of other criteria, such as whether a vulnerable encryption protocol or a common network name (SSID) are used. Based on this information, Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection determines whether or not the network is secure.

To protect the unsecured network, in the main window of Kaspersky VPN Secure Connection for Mac switch the toggle to the “on” position.
