The article concerns the following versions of Kaspersky Security Center 10:

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343)
 
 
 
 

Client computers with Network Agent installed may appear in the unassigned computers, and not in the Managed computers group. 

Possible reasons

  1. The system as been installed on client computers using a system image Network Agent already installed and the Start application during install option enabled. 
  2. Network Agent was installed with the Enable dynamic mode for VDI option enabled in the installation package properties.

Solution

Employ one of the ways to solve the issue:
  1. When installing Network Agent on a computer to be used for making a system image from, disable the Start application during install option.
  2. Reinstall Network Agent with the Enable dynamic mode for VDI option disabled.
