This article concerns Kaspersky Security Center 10: 

  • Service Pack 3 (version 10.5.1781.0)
  • Service Pack 2 Maintenance Release 1 (version 10.4.343.0)
 
 
 
 

When installing Kaspersky Security Center, you can change the X.509 Administration server certificate to a custom one.

The X.509 certificate for the Administration Server is set for the following purposes:

  • SSL traffic inspection through SSL termination proxy, or for using Reverse Proxy.
  • Integration with the PKI infrastructure of the organization.
  • Setting custom values to certificate fields.
  • Enhancing the cryptographic strength of the certificate.
