If you use Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 along with Websense Endpoint 7.8 or 8.x, you may encounter errors caused by the File-level encryption (FLE) component and the klvfs.sys driver.

Installation of Websense Endpoint 7.8 or 8.x on a computer with Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 and FLE may end up with operating system critical failure.

To eliminate the error, do the following:

  1. Go to Programs and Features  in the Control Panel (Start -> Control Panel -> Programs and Features).
  2. Select Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10, right-click the application name and select Modify. The option button may also be named Uninstall/Change.
  3. In the Setup wizard window, select Modify
  4. Clear the check box File-level encryption
  5. Follow the wizard instructions to complete the process.
  6. Restart the computer with Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10.
  7. Install Websense Endpoint.

If necessary, install File-level encryption after you install Websense Endpoint.
