When handling an email that contains malware, Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers sends a threat detection letter to the administrator (disabled by default). If the malicious object was packed into another file, the administrator will receive a detection notification with an incorrect verdict. The subject may contain the string Object has been deleted, but it could have been disinfected.

Solution

The exact action applied to the file can be found in the Reports section of the Kaspersky Security 9.0 for Microsoft Exchange Servers Administration Console.
