How to diagnose update issues in Kaspersky Total Security

If any problems occur while updating Kaspersky Total Security, follow the recommendations below:

  1. Check if the system date is set up correctly on your computer.
  2. Check if your computer has an access to the Internet. To do this, try to open the Kaspersky Lab website. If you have no access to the Internet, contact your Internet service provider for additional information.
  3. Reset Internet Explorer settings. 
  4. Check the availability of Kaspersky Lab update servers. To do this, click any of the links in server address list. If the server page is successfully downloaded, the the Kaspersky Lab servers are accessible.
  5. If you have a third-party Firewall or other anti-virus software, incompatible with Kaspersky Total Security installed on your computer, remove it manually.
  6. Make sure your computer is not infected:
