To protect your computer against infection, it is necessary that you update Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2015 databases regularly and perform a Full Scan at least once a week.
To download an anti-virus database update from Kaspersky Lab servers, you will need an Internet connection. By default, Internet connection settings are defined automatically. However, if you are using a proxy server to access the Internet, we recommend that you configure proxy server settings in advance.
When the application is being updated, the following objects are downloaded and installed on your computer:
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2015 features an intelligent system for downloading updates; it only downloads updates for enabled components, which minimizes the network traffic and time required for downloading. As soon as a component is enabled, the corresponding updates start downloading to ensure up-to-date protection.
