The difference between Kaspersky Security 10 for iOS from AppStore and the Kaspersky Lab website is the following: the AppStore version does not support container applications management and features less jailbreak detection options.

Managing Container Applications

You can use containers to monitor the activity of applications started on the mobile device. Container is a special "wrapper" for mobile applications that allows to control the actions of the application included into it and to protect personal and corporate data stored on the device.  You can only add third-party applications to the container.

Managing container applications implies configuring operating parameters, specified by the policy which is applied to a group of mobile devices. Using policy properties, you can configure the following container parameters:

  1. Automatic data encryption for the application added to the container on the user's device;

  2. Authorization request when the application added to the container is started;

You can set the following authorization methods:

  • Domain login and password. When the application from the container is started, the user enters the Active Directory login and password;
  • User's password, specified during the first start of the application added to the container;
  1. Data storage restrictions for the application added to the container on the user's device;

  2. Restrictions for sending data from the application in the container to other applications;

  3. Internet access restriction for the application in the container.
